Cooking Instructions
- Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook 250 g pasta until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and reserve ¼ cup water.
- In a skillet, heat 1 tablespoon olive oil over medium heat. Add 3 minced garlic cloves and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the zest and juice of 1 orange, stirring well. Simmer for 2 minutes.
- Slowly add 100 ml heavy cream while stirring. Let simmer for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
- Gradually stir in 150 g cheddar and 50 g Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
- Season the sauce with salt and pepper to taste.
- Add the cooked pasta to the sauce, tossing until well coated. Add reserved pasta water if needed.
- Serve in bowls, garnished with fresh basil and orange zest.
