For the Sauce

  • 1 teaspoon Smoked paprika
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • ½ cup Chicken broth
  • ¼ cup Grated Parmesan cheese

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and 1 tablespoon of Cajun seasoning.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add olive oil. Sear the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side until cooked through.
  3. Remove the chicken from the skillet and let it rest before slicing into strips.
  4. Cook pasta in salted boiling water until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before draining.
  5. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic for 1-2 minutes.
  6. Add Cajun seasoning and smoked paprika to the skillet, stirring for about 1 minute.
  7. Pour in heavy cream and chicken broth, bringing the mixture to a simmer for 4-5 minutes.
  8. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth. Adjust seasoning if necessary.
  9. Add the drained pasta to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Use reserved pasta water as needed.
  10. Mix the sliced chicken back into the skillet and heat through for 1-2 minutes.
  11. Garnish with parsley and additional Parmesan cheese, then serve.
