Equipment

  • large pot
  • Skillet
  • Colander

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by bringing a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil over high heat. Add your choice of pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente, usually around 8–10 minutes. Once cooked, drain the pasta in a colander and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Once shimmering, add 1 pound of ground beef, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon. Cook for about 5–7 minutes until the beef is thoroughly browned.
  3. Sprinkle in 1 teaspoon of onion powder, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, and ½ teaspoon of smoked paprika, along with salt and pepper to taste. Stir the spices into the beef mixture and cook for another 2 minutes.
  4. Reduce the skillet heat to low and pour in 1½ cups of Alfredo sauce, stirring to fully combine it with the seasoned beef. Allow the mixture to simmer gently for about 2–3 minutes.
  5. Add the cooked pasta into the skillet with the beef and Alfredo mixture. Gently toss everything together until the pasta is completely coated in the sauce. Fold in 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese and ½ cup of mozzarella cheese, if desired.
  6. Remove the skillet from heat and top your Loaded Cheeseburger Alfredo Pasta with 4 slices of crumbled bacon and ⅓ cup of diced dill pickles. Optionally add chopped tomatoes or shredded lettuce before serving.
  7. Scoop your Loaded Cheeseburger Alfredo Pasta into warm bowls and serve.
