  • 12 large pitted black olives or green olives for variation

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 500°F, or as high as it will go if using a baking stone or steel.
  2. Pull string cheese into thin strips and slice olives in half lengthwise.
  3. Stretch or roll out the pizza dough into a circle of 12 to 14 inches in diameter.
  4. Spread the marinara sauce over the dough, leaving a ½-inch border.
  5. Bake the sauced pizza dough in the oven until the crust is dry and light golden, about 3-5 minutes.
  6. Arrange the cheese strips on the pizza in a spider web design, and add olives as spider bodies and legs.
  7. Return the pizza to the oven and bake until the cheese is melted and bubbly, about 3-5 minutes.
  8. Let the pizza cool slightly before slicing and serve immediately!
