  • 1 tablespoon Cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black pepper
For the Tofu
  • 1 block Firm tofu

Step-by-Step Instructions for Air Fryer Tofu
  1. Start by pressing the firm tofu for at least 20 minutes to remove excess moisture. Wrap the tofu in a clean kitchen towel and set something heavy on top.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of olive oil, 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of cornstarch, 1 teaspoon each of garlic powder and onion powder, along with ½ teaspoon of salt and black pepper. Whisk together until smooth.
  3. Gently toss the pressed and cubed tofu in the marinade until each piece is evenly coated. Let sit for about 5 minutes.
  4. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3-5 minutes.
  5. Place the marinated tofu cubes in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  6. Once cooked, carefully remove the tofu from the basket using tongs. Serve immediately.
