Step-by-Step Instructions
- Press your block of extra-firm tofu to remove excess moisture and let it press for at least 30 minutes.
- Cube the pressed tofu into bite-sized cubes, around 1-inch thick.
- Toss the cubed tofu gently in cornstarch until every piece is evenly coated.
- In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, red pepper flakes, and sesame oil to create the honey garlic sauce.
- Pour cooking oil into a frying pan and heat it over medium heat until it's ready for frying.
- Fry the coated tofu cubes in the hot oil for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Remove the tofu from the pan, drain briefly on paper towels, and toss in the honey garlic sauce until coated.
- Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions and serve warm over rice or quinoa.

Notes
Pressing the tofu properly is crucial for achieving a crispy texture. Be careful not to overcrowd the pan while frying.
