Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Slice the croissants into halves or quarters and layer them in the prepared dish. Scatter mixed berries on top.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, whole milk, heavy cream, vanilla extract, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  4. Pour the custard mixture over the croissants and berries, press gently, and let it rest for 15–20 minutes or refrigerate overnight.
  5. Bake for 35–40 minutes until golden brown and firm around the edges.
  6. Let it cool for a few minutes, dust with powdered sugar, and serve warm.
