- Combine minced shrimp, breadcrumbs, cornstarch, and beaten egg in a mixing bowl. Add garlic, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix until combined.
- With wet hands, take tablespoon-sized portions of the shrimp mixture and roll into small balls about 1 inch in diameter.
- Heat oil in a frying pan over medium heat, about ½ inch deep, and wait until it shimmers.
- Carefully add shrimp balls to the hot oil in batches and fry until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes.
