Preparation Steps
  1. Prepare the Black Dye Water: Fill a shallow pan with slightly warm water and add 1 cup of black dye, stirring until combined.
  2. Soften the Spaghetti: Drop uncooked spaghetti into the black water and soak for 10-12 minutes.
  3. Heat the Oil: Heat a frying pan over medium heat with enough oil to cover the wings.
  4. Prepare the Spring Roll Wrappers: Soak one spring roll wrapper in the black water for about 30 seconds until soft.
  5. Mix the Cream Cheese Filling: Combine cream cheese with a bit of black dye until reaching a deep grey color.
  6. Pipe the Cream Cheese Filling: Spoon the mixture into a sandwich bag and snip off a corner to pipe it.
  7. Shape the Wrapper: Fold the wrapper in half and trim to make a triangle, then cut into two smaller triangles.
  8. Create the Bat Wing Look: Scallop the edges of each triangle with kitchen scissors.
  9. Add the Bone Structure: Pipe three lines of filling onto one side and lay two spaghetti noodles to represent bones.
  10. Seal the Wings: Fold the top half down and press to seal the edges to prevent leaks.
  11. Fry the Wings: Drop assembled wings into hot oil and fry for about one minute on each side until golden brown.
  12. Drain and Cool: Remove wings and place on paper towels or a cooling rack to drain excess oil.
