- Wash and dry the strawberries thoroughly and cut the tops off each one.
- Color the fondant by adding black food coloring gel to half of the white fondant and knead until smooth.
- Roll out both the white and black fondant until approximately ⅛ inch thick.
- Cut out small ovals from the black fondant for the monsters' faces.
- Create tiny triangle shapes from the white fondant to serve as teeth.
- Assemble the mouths by gluing the teeth onto the black ovals with water, then attach them to the strawberries.
- Add a dab of writing icing to the back of each candy eye and stick them on top of the decorated mouths.
