  • black food coloring gel Use this to color some fondant for their scary facial features.
  • cup powdered icing sugar Helps prevent the fondant from sticking.
  • 1 tube white writing icing Ideal for adding intricate details to your monster's faces.
  • 12 pieces candy eyes These cute additions will bring your Strawberry Halloween Monsters to life!
For the Decoration
  • water Used to 'glue' the fondant pieces together.

Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Wash and dry the strawberries thoroughly and cut the tops off each one.
  2. Color the fondant by adding black food coloring gel to half of the white fondant and knead until smooth.
  3. Roll out both the white and black fondant until approximately ⅛ inch thick.
  4. Cut out small ovals from the black fondant for the monsters' faces.
  5. Create tiny triangle shapes from the white fondant to serve as teeth.
  6. Assemble the mouths by gluing the teeth onto the black ovals with water, then attach them to the strawberries.
  7. Add a dab of writing icing to the back of each candy eye and stick them on top of the decorated mouths.
