  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, and then add vanilla extract.
  5. Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just combined.
  6. Cover dough with plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 30 minutes.
  7. Scoop chilled dough into balls, roll in powdered sugar, and place on baking sheets.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set but centers remain soft.
  9. Cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
