  • 6 pieces Hard Boiled Eggs Provides the base for deviled eggs
  • ¼ cup Mayonnaise Or substitute with Greek yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon Mustard Dijon or yellow mustard, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Salt To taste
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper To taste
  • 5 drops Bright Green Food Coloring Or substitute with mashed avocado for color
For the Decoration
  • 1 pieces Red Pepper Diced for decoration

Method
 

Make the Deviled Eggs
  1. Begin by placing the eggs in a saucepan and covering them with water. Bring the water to a rolling boil over medium-high heat, then reduce the heat and let them simmer for 10-12 minutes.
  2. Once cooked, transfer the eggs to an ice bath to cool completely for about 5 minutes, then gently peel them.
  3. Carefully slice each egg in half lengthwise and scoop out the yolks into a mixing bowl. Add mayonnaise, mustard, salt, and pepper, mixing until smooth.
  4. Add a few drops of bright green food coloring to the yolk mixture and stir until you achieve the desired color.
  5. Transfer the filling into a piping bag fitted with a star tip and pipe the mixture into each half of the egg whites.
  6. Decorate by placing diced red pepper on top of each piped filling to resemble bows.
