Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, combine 1 cup of warm milk, ¼ cup of granulated sugar, and 3 teaspoons of active dry yeast. Stir gently and let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together 3 ½ cups of all-purpose flour and 1 teaspoon of salt.
  3. Pour the activated yeast mixture into the flour and salt bowl. Add ¼ cup of melted unsalted butter, stirring until a sticky dough begins to form.
  4. Transfer the sticky dough onto a lightly floured surface. Knead for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. Place the kneaded dough into a greased bowl, cover it, and let it rise in a warm location for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  6. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  7. Punch the risen dough down gently, divide into 12 pieces, and shape each into a roll. Place on a greased baking sheet.
