Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Gently roll out the thawed puff pastry until it's about ⅛ inch thick.
- Cut the pastry into rectangles approximately 3 inches by 5 inches.
- Spread a thin layer of Dijon mustard over one half of each pastry rectangle.
- Layer a slice of deli ham followed by a slice or sprinkle of cheese on top.
- Sprinkle some chopped fresh parsley if desired.
- Season lightly with salt and pepper.
- Fold the other half of the pastry over the filling and seal the edges tightly.
- Place the prepared sticks on the baking sheet with space between them.
- Brush the tops of each stick with the beaten egg.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden and puffed.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
