Cooking Steps
- In a large pot, heat vegetable oil over medium heat, add onion, carrots, and celery, and sauté for 5-7 minutes until softened.
- Stir in minced garlic and ground beef, cooking for 7-10 minutes until beef is browned.
- Pour in beef broth, diced potatoes, thyme, salt, and pepper. Stir and bring to a gentle boil.
- Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 30 minutes.
- Add frozen peas in the last 10 minutes of cooking. Stir well.
