Step-by-Step Instructions for Coffee Mousse
- In a cold mixing bowl, pour in 1 cup of heavy cream. Using an electric mixer, beat on medium speed until you reach stiff peaks, which should take about 3–5 minutes.
- In a separate large bowl, combine 1 cup of milk, ½ cup of cooled coffee, ⅓ cup of powdered sugar, and 4 ounces of melted chocolate. Whisk together vigorously until the mixture becomes smooth and well-blended.
- Gently fold the whipped cream into the coffee-chocolate mixture. Start with a small amount of whipped cream, incorporating it in a smooth, circular motion.
- Carefully divide the Coffee Mousse into serving glasses or bowls, ensuring each gets an equal share of that luscious treat. Place the filled containers in the refrigerator and chill for at least 2 hours.
