Method
 

Directions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350℉ (or 180℃).
  2. Line a 9x13 inch baking pan with parchment paper and lightly spray with nonstick spray.
  3. In a medium bowl, mix 2¼ cups of unbleached all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, and ¾ teaspoon of kosher salt.
  4. In a stand mixer, cream ¾ cup unsalted butter, ¾ cup dark brown sugar, and ¾ cup granulated sugar until creamy.
  5. Add the eggs one at a time and then mix in 1½ teaspoons real vanilla extract.
  6. Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until no streaks remain.
  7. Gently fold in ½ cup Reese's Pieces and ½ cup chocolate M&M's.
  8. Transfer the dough into the prepared baking pan and press evenly.
  9. Bake for 18 to 20 minutes, until lightly golden.
  10. While baking, chop leftover Halloween candy.
  11. Immediately press the chopped candy into the top of warm bars after baking.
  12. Allow to cool completely before slicing into squares.
