  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup hot cocoa mix
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup mallow bits

Method
 

Steps
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened butter and both sugars until light and fluffy, about 2-3 minutes.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa mix, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the butter mixture until just combined.
  3. Fold in chocolate chips and mallow bits until evenly distributed.
  4. Chill the dough in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper. Scoop tablespoons of dough onto the sheets.
  6. Bake for 9-11 minutes, until edges are lightly browned.
  7. Let cool on baking sheets for 5 minutes before transferring to wire racks.
