  • 20 ounces Frozen Hash Browns

  • 2.5 cups Shredded Irish Cheddar Cheese divided
For the Garnish
  • 2 Chopped Green Onions

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Melt 4 tablespoons of Irish butter in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add 1 cup of diced yellow onion and sauté for about 2-3 minutes.
  4. Stir in 10 ounces of shredded green cabbage and ½ teaspoon of sea salt, cooking for 5-6 minutes.
  5. Add 2 minced garlic cloves and sauté for an additional minute.
  6. Mix in a 20-ounce bag of frozen hash browns and 1½ cups of shredded Irish cheddar cheese.
  7. Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes.
  8. Remove from the oven, sprinkle with 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese, and bake for another 4-5 minutes.
  9. Let it sit for a moment, then garnish with 2 chopped green onions and serve warm.
