- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together 2 ¼ cups of all-purpose flour and ½ teaspoon of baking soda.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat together 1 cup of unsalted butter, ½ cup granulated sugar, and 1 cup packed light brown sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add 1 teaspoon of salt, 2 teaspoons of pure vanilla extract, and 2 large eggs to the butter-sugar mixture, mixing until smooth.
