Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll the refrigerated crescent rolls and lay them in a circular shape on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. Place the small wheel of Brie cheese in the center of the crescent ring.
  4. Spread the cranberry sauce evenly over the Brie cheese.
  5. Sprinkle chopped pecans or walnuts over the cranberry sauce if desired.
  6. Fold each triangle of crescent dough over the filling, tucking the tips underneath.
  7. Whisk together the egg and water to create an egg wash and apply it over the crescent dough.
