Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Carefully slice the 12 Hawaiian rolls horizontally.
- Evenly distribute the 0.5 cup of ham over the bottom halves of the rolls.
- Place one slice of cheese on top of the ham for each roll.
- Lay the top halves of the Hawaiian rolls over the layered fillings.
- Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a small saucepan and stir in 1 tablespoon of poppy seeds.
- Brush the melted butter and poppy seed mixture over the tops of the rolls.
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow the sliders to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
