  • 12 rolls Hawaiian rolls these sweet, soft rolls are the perfect base for our sliders
  • 0.5 cup ham use your favorite ham for that savory depth in flavor
  • 12 slices cheese choose a melty cheese like cheddar or Swiss
For the Topping
  • 2 tablespoons butter adds richness and a golden color
  • 1 tablespoon poppy seeds adds flavor and crunch

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Carefully slice the 12 Hawaiian rolls horizontally.
  3. Evenly distribute the 0.5 cup of ham over the bottom halves of the rolls.
  4. Place one slice of cheese on top of the ham for each roll.
  5. Lay the top halves of the Hawaiian rolls over the layered fillings.
  6. Melt 2 tablespoons of butter in a small saucepan and stir in 1 tablespoon of poppy seeds.
  7. Brush the melted butter and poppy seed mixture over the tops of the rolls.
  8. Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  9. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until golden brown.
  10. Allow the sliders to cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
