  • 1 package Puff pastry ready-made sheets
For the Filling
  • 8 ounces Brie cheese cut into small cubes
  • ½ cup Cranberry sauce homemade or store-bought
For the Egg Wash
  • 1 large Egg beaten
For Garnish
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh thyme leaves optional
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheets until they're about ⅛ inch thick.
  3. Cut the puff pastry into squares or circles that are about 3 inches wide.
  4. In the center of each pastry, place a small cube of Brie cheese.
  5. Spoon about one teaspoon of cranberry sauce over each Brie cube.
  6. Lightly season each bite with salt and pepper, and sprinkle thyme if desired.
  7. Fold the corners of the pastry over the filling to form packages.
  8. Brush the tops of each pastry with the beaten egg.
  9. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes, until puffed and golden brown.
  10. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
