  1. Preheat a skillet or griddle over medium heat for about 5 minutes.
  2. Spread butter generously on one side of each slice of rye bread.
  3. Place four slices of bread, butter-side down, onto the skillet and layer with corned beef, sauerkraut, and Swiss cheese.
  4. Top each layered slice with the remaining four slices of bread, butter-side up, and press down gently.

  6. Grill the second side for another 3-4 minutes until crispy and cheese is melted.
