For the Brownies
  • 1 box Brownie mix
  • 2 large Eggs
  • cup Oil
  • ¼ cup Water
For the Kabobs
  • 12 pieces Fresh strawberries
  • 1 cup Marshmallows
For the Drizzle
  • 1 cup Semi-sweet chocolate chips
For Assembly
  • 6 pieces Wooden skewers

Equipment

  • oven
  • mixing bowl
  • Baking Pan
  • Wooden Skewers
  • microwave
  • Microwave-safe Bowl

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven as directed on the brownie mix package, usually around 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, combine the brownie mix with the required eggs, oil, and water.
  2. Pour the mixture into a greased baking pan and bake for about 25–30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Allow the brownies to cool completely before cutting them into small 1-inch squares.
  3. While your brownies are cooling, rinse the fresh strawberries under cold water. Gently pat them dry and remove the green tops.
  4. Grab your wooden skewers and start threading your delicious creations! Begin with a brownie square, followed by a strawberry, and then a marshmallow. Repeat the pattern until the skewer is filled.
  5. To melt the chocolate, place the semi-sweet chocolate chips into a microwave-safe bowl and microwave in 20-second increments, stirring until fully melted and smooth.
  6. Drizzle the melted chocolate over the assembled kabobs or dip each kabob into the chocolate. Place on a parchment-lined tray.
  7. Refrigerate the kabobs for 10–15 minutes to allow the chocolate to set.
