Step-by-Step Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Sprinkle both sides of the chicken breasts generously with salt and black pepper.
- In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and sear the chicken breasts for about 3–4 minutes on each side until golden-brown.
- Lower the skillet's heat and add the softened unsalted butter, allowing it to melt completely.
- Stir in honey, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, and vanilla extract into the melted butter until blended and slightly caramelized.
- Return the browned chicken breasts to the skillet and drizzle the buttery mixture over them.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and roast for 20–25 minutes until the chicken reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Baste the chicken with the bubbling butter sauce halfway through cooking.
- Once cooked, remove the skillet from the oven and let the chicken rest for a few minutes.
- Sprinkle freshly chopped cilantro over the dish and serve hot.

Notes
Use high-quality chicken for the best results. Don’t skip resting the chicken before serving to ensure juiciness.
