Step‑by‑Step Instructions for Stuffed Morel Mushrooms
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. In a small mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, fresh thyme leaves, umami seasoning, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, coarse ground black pepper, and a pinch of salt. Mix until smooth.
  3. Transfer the filling into a piping bag and pipe the mixture into each halved mushroom.
  4. Melt the salted butter and mix in the panko breadcrumbs until evenly coated.
  5. Press the stuffed side of each mushroom into the breadcrumb mixture and place back on the baking sheet.
  6. Bake for about 15–20 minutes until mushrooms are tender and tops are golden brown. Optionally broil for 2–3 minutes.
