  • 8 ounces Cream Cheese
  • 2 cups White Candy Melts
  • 1 cup Red Candy Melts
  • ¼ cup Sanding Sugars Red and Green

Method
 

  1. Prepare a baking sheet lined with wax paper.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine crumbled Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes with softened cream cheese until smooth.
  3. Portion the mixture into tablespoon-sized balls, roll smooth, and place on the baking sheet.
  4. Freeze the cake balls for at least 15 minutes.
  5. Melt the white candy melts in intervals until smooth, adjusting with shortening if needed.
  6. Dip each chilled cake ball into the melted candy coating, then place them back on the baking sheet.
  7. Sprinkle with sanding sugars and drizzle with melted red candy melts if desired.
  8. Refrigerate for about an hour to set coating.
