Step-by-Step Instructions

  4. Assemble the rolls by placing filling in cabbage leaves and rolling tightly.
  5. Spread a layer of tomato sauce in the baking dish.
  6. Layer the cabbage rolls seam-side down and cover with remaining sauce.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes, then uncover and bake for an additional 15 minutes.
  8. Let cool for a few minutes before serving warm.
