- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Prepare your baking dish.
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil and cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and lay flat on a clean kitchen towel.
- In a large skillet, brown the ground beef and Italian sausage over medium heat for about 8-10 minutes. Drain the excess fat.
- Add garlic powder, onion powder, and Italian seasoning to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper. Stir in marinara sauce and let simmer for about 5 minutes.
- In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, and half of the grated Parmesan cheese until well combined.
- In the prepared baking dish, layer meat sauce, 4 lasagna noodles, half of the ricotta mixture, and a third of the mozzarella cheese.
- Repeat layers, finishing with meat sauce topped with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
- Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 20 minutes until bubbly and golden.
- Let lasagna rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing to allow layers to set.
