Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil over high heat. Once boiling, add the rotini pasta and cook according to package directions until just al dente, usually about 8–10 minutes. Drain the pasta and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced sausage and cook for about 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally until golden brown. Remove from skillet and keep warm.
  3. In the same skillet, add a drizzle of olive oil if needed. Toss in the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the BBQ sauce, honey, paprika, chili powder, salt, and pepper to the skillet with garlic. Stir well and let simmer for 2–3 minutes until thickened.
  5. Return the cooked sausage and drained pasta to the skillet with the sauce. Toss gently for a minute or two until evenly coated.
  6. Remove from heat and sprinkle with freshly chopped parsley. Serve hot.
