  4. Add pasta, ensuring each strand is submerged, and stir well.

  6. Reduce heat to low as pasta absorbs most of the broth.
  7. Incorporate grated Parmesan, stirring until melted into sauce.
  8. Season with salt and pepper, and fold in chopped parsley if desired.
  9. Serve hot, garnished with additional Parmesan and parsley.
