For the Chicken

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Season both sides of 4 chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes.
  3. Add the seasoned chicken to the skillet and cook for 6-7 minutes per side until cooked through.
  4. Remove the chicken and set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, sauté 4 cloves of minced garlic for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  6. Pour in 2 cups of chicken broth and scrape up browned bits from the bottom.
  7. Stir in 1 cup of heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  8. Add 12 ounces of fettuccine pasta, cover, and cook for 10-12 minutes until al dente.
  9. Slice the cooked chicken into strips.
  10. Stir in 0.5 cup of grated Parmesan cheese until melted.
  11. Combine the sliced chicken back into the skillet and stir well.
  12. Add 0.25 cup of chopped parsley and 1 tablespoon of unsalted butter, stir until melted.
  13. Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary before serving.
