Step-by-Step Instructions for Oven-Baked Salmon Sushi Bites
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Rinse 2 cups of sushi rice under cold water until the water runs clear.
  3. In a pot, combine rinsed sushi rice and 2 ½ cups of water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and cover. Let it simmer for 18-20 minutes until water is absorbed.
  4. In a small bowl, mix ¼ cup rice vinegar, 2 tablespoons sugar, and 1 teaspoon salt. Heat gently until dissolved, then fold this mixture into your cooled rice.
  5. Slice salmon fillet into small, bite-sized pieces and set aside.
