  1. Begin by heating 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add 1 pound of sliced smoked sausage to the hot skillet and cook for about 5–7 minutes until browned and crispy.
  3. Toss in the sliced onion and stir for about 2 minutes until it becomes soft and translucent.
  4. Stir in 3 minced garlic cloves and cook for an additional 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Add the sliced cabbage and red bell pepper to the skillet and stir-fry for 5–7 minutes.
  6. Return the browned sausage to the skillet and mix it with the sautéed vegetables.
