Step-by-Step Instructions

  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the masa harina, softened butter, chicken broth, and green chiles until smooth.
  3. In another bowl, mix the shredded chicken, green enchilada sauce, and chopped cilantro until well combined.
  4. In a greased baking dish, spread half of the masa mixture on the bottom, then layer with the chicken mixture and half of the cheese.
  5. Spread the remaining masa mixture over the chicken and cheese layer.
  6. Top with the remaining Monterey Jack cheese.
  7. Bake for 40 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
  8. Allow to cool for 10 minutes before serving.
