Preparation
- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, finely chopped Napa cabbage, chopped green onions, grated ginger, minced garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper.
- Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are well combined to create a flavorful filling.
Assembly
- On a clean surface, place a dumpling wrapper and add approximately 1 tablespoon of the filling in the center.
- Moisten the edges of the wrapper with water, then fold and seal tightly.
- Repeat until all filling and wrappers are used.
Cooking
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Arrange the dumplings in a single layer and fry for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
- Carefully add water to the skillet and immediately cover to steam for 5-7 minutes.
- Once steamed, remove lid and let excess water evaporate for 1 minute before transferring to a serving platter.
- Serve with soy sauce or dipping sauce.
