Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, basil, egg, and breadcrumbs until fully combined.
  2. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Shape the meat mixture into 1-inch meatballs and brown them in a skillet over medium heat.
  3. Transfer browned meatballs to a baking dish, coat with marinara sauce, and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese.
  4. Roll out the puff pastry, cut out a circle, and cover the meatball mixture with it. Seal the edges.
