Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Place the 4 lb beef chuck roast into the slow cooker, ensuring it sits comfortably at the bottom. In a small bowl, combine the minced garlic, salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and onion powder. Rub this seasoning mixture generously over the surface of the beef.
  2. Pour 1 cup of beef broth and ½ cup of barbecue sauce over the seasoned beef in the slow cooker. Cover the slow cooker and set it to cook on low heat for 8 hours.
  3. Carefully remove the beef from the slow cooker using tongs. Shred the beef into bite-sized pieces and return it to the slow cooker to soak in the juices.
  4. In a mixing bowl for the coleslaw, combine 1½ cups of coleslaw mix, ½ cup of mayonnaise, 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar, and 1 tablespoon of sugar. Stir well and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
  5. Slice each slider bun in half horizontally. Spoon the garlic pulled beef onto the bottom half of each bun, followed by a generous amount of coleslaw, and top with the other half of the bun.
  6. Arrange the assembled sliders on a serving platter and serve warm.
