Step-by-Step Instructions
- Place the 4 lb beef chuck roast into the slow cooker, ensuring it sits comfortably at the bottom. In a small bowl, combine the minced garlic, salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and onion powder. Rub this seasoning mixture generously over the surface of the beef.
- Pour 1 cup of beef broth and ½ cup of barbecue sauce over the seasoned beef in the slow cooker. Cover the slow cooker and set it to cook on low heat for 8 hours.
- Carefully remove the beef from the slow cooker using tongs. Shred the beef into bite-sized pieces and return it to the slow cooker to soak in the juices.
- In a mixing bowl for the coleslaw, combine 1½ cups of coleslaw mix, ½ cup of mayonnaise, 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar, and 1 tablespoon of sugar. Stir well and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
- Slice each slider bun in half horizontally. Spoon the garlic pulled beef onto the bottom half of each bun, followed by a generous amount of coleslaw, and top with the other half of the bun.
- Arrange the assembled sliders on a serving platter and serve warm.
