  1. In a medium saucepan, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat until shimmering. Add the finely chopped onion and sauté for about 5 to 7 minutes until soft.
  2. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for an additional 1 to 2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the red wine and allow it to simmer gently, reducing by half for about 10 to 15 minutes.
  4. Add the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, thyme, and rosemary. Stir over medium heat until well combined.
  5. Continue to simmer for an additional 15 to 20 minutes until the sauce thickens.
  6. Remove from heat and strain through a fine-mesh sieve if desired.
