Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, prepare 1 pound of fresh salmon by dicing it or pulsing it in a food processor until coarsely chopped.
  3. Add in the remaining salmon ball ingredients and mix until well combined.
  4. Shape the mixture into small balls, about the size of a golf ball, and place them on a baking sheet.
  5. For stovetop cooking, heat olive oil in a skillet, adding the salmon balls and cooking until golden brown.
  6. If baking, place the salmon balls in the preheated oven and bake for 15-20 minutes.
  7. Prepare the creamy avocado sauce by blending the sauce ingredients until smooth.
  8. Season the avocado sauce to taste and thin with water if necessary.
  9. Let the salmon balls cool slightly before serving.
  10. Serve warm with the creamy avocado sauce on the side.
