- Start by rinsing 2 cups of long-grain rice under cold running water until the water is clear. Drain and set aside.
- In a large pot, heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil over medium heat. Add the onion, celery, and bell peppers. Sauté for 5-7 minutes.
- Add 1 pound of raw shrimp to the pot. Cook for 3-4 minutes until opaque.
