Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add 1 tablespoon of olive oil, letting it warm for 1 minute until shimmering.
  2. Season 1 pound of sirloin steak strips with 1 teaspoon of chili powder, ½ teaspoon of garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Add the seasoned steak strips to the skillet and cook for approximately 4-5 minutes until seared and cooked through.
  4. In a large mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of cooked white rice, ½ cup of diced tomatoes, ½ cup of black beans, ½ cup of corn, ½ cup of bell pepper, and ¼ cup of red onion.
  5. Pour in ¾ cup of queso blanco cheese sauce to the rice mixture and fold gently to coat all ingredients.
