Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a small bowl, mix together 1 tablespoon of coarse sugar, 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar, ½ teaspoon of cinnamon, and a pinch of cayenne pepper until well combined. Set aside.
  2. Take a slice of tangerine or orange and run it around the rim of a rocks glass. Dip the moistened rim into your cinnamon-sugar mixture until coated. Fill the glass with ice.
  3. In a cocktail shaker, combine pomegranate juice, orange juice, tequila, orange liqueur, honey, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, ground ginger, and a pinch of cayenne pepper. Mix well.
  4. Fill the cocktail shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds.
  5. Strain the chilled drink into the prepared rocks glass filled with ice.
  6. If desired, top off with ginger beer for a fizzy finish.
  7. Garnish with a cinnamon stick and serve immediately.
