Step-by-Step Instructions for Jalapeños Popper Puff Pastry Twists
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the thawed puff pastry sheets on a lightly floured surface to about ⅛ inch thick.
  3. In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, jalapeños, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  4. Cut the puff pastry into 1-inch wide strips using a knife or pizza cutter.
  5. Place approximately 1 tablespoon of the cheese mixture at one end of each strip. Fold and twist the pastry to seal the filling.
  6. Place the twisted pastries on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them 1-2 inches apart.
  7. Whisk the egg and brush it over each twist for a golden finish. Optional: sprinkle sesame seeds or seasoning.
