Cooking Steps
- Preheat a large skillet or griddle over medium-high heat for about 2 minutes.
- Press a handful of ground beef evenly onto one half of each tortilla and season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
- Place the tortillas beef-side down onto the hot skillet. Cook for 2–3 minutes until the beef is browned.
- Flip the tortillas gently, sprinkle shredded cheese over the beef, and fold the tortillas in half.
- Cook for an additional 2–4 minutes on each side until golden brown and cheese is melted.
- Transfer to a cutting board, let sit for a minute, slice into wedges, and serve with optional toppings.
