Ingredients
  

For the Salad
  • 16 balls Mozzarella balls for creating spooky skull shapes
  • 4 cups Mixed salad greens the base of your salad
  • 2 cups Sweet cherry tomatoes for color and sweetness
  • 1 cup Fresh basil thinly sliced
For the Dressing
  • 3 tablespoons Olive oil good quality finishing oil
  • 2 tablespoons Balsamic glaze touch of sweetness
  • 1 teaspoon Flaky sea salt for crunchy finish
  • 1 teaspoon Freshly cracked black pepper for spice
Optional Extras
  • 0.5 lemon Lemon squeeze juice for added flavor

Method
 

Steps to Prepare
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Place one mozzarella ball in each skull mold, greasing them with olive oil if desired.
  3. Bake the mozzarella balls for approximately 6 minutes until softened.
  4. Press gently into the mozzarella with a spoon to shape the skulls.
  5. Cool the mozzarella in the refrigerator for 10-15 minutes.
  6. In a large mixing bowl, add the mixed salad greens and drizzle with olive oil and lemon juice, tossing gently.
  7. Arrange the cooled mozzarella skulls on top of the salad greens with cherry tomatoes.
  8. Drizzle olive oil and balsamic glaze, and sprinkle with sea salt and black pepper.
  9. Serve immediately on a vibrant platter.
