  3. Add orange juice, lemon juice, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and salt into the syrup. Simmer gently.
  4. Add rinsed cranberries to the saucepan, coating them with syrup and simmer for about 5 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat, allowing cranberries to cool in syrup for 10 minutes.
  6. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Transfer cranberries to the sheet in a single layer.
  7. Let cranberries dry at room temperature for about 30 minutes.
  8. Toss cranberries in a bowl with powdered sugar until evenly coated.
  9. Return sugared cranberries to the baking sheet, spreading in a single layer, and let set for 15 minutes.
  10. Optional: Sprinkle fresh orange zest over the cranberries before serving.
