Step-by-Step Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Lay out the Saltine crackers in a single, even layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- In a medium saucepan, melt the unsalted butter and brown sugar over medium heat, stirring continuously until it boils, about 5 minutes.
- Carefully pour the boiling toffee mixture evenly over the arranged Saltine crackers and spread gently with a spatula.
- Bake for 5-7 minutes until the toffee is bubbly and golden.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle the semi-sweet chocolate chips over the hot toffee. Let sit for 2 minutes, then spread melted chocolate evenly.
- In a small bowl, mix the granulated sugar and cinnamon, then sprinkle this mixture evenly over the chocolate layer.
- Lightly sprinkle sea salt over the top of your toffee.
- Allow the baked Churro Saltine Toffee to cool completely at room temperature (about 30 minutes) before breaking into pieces.

Notes
Use fresh crackers for the best texture; keep an eye on baking time to avoid burning.
